Moving Day

Well, the day has arrived. We have "most" of the house packed and get our moving truck at 4 this afternoon. With the help of some great family and friends, we have made numerous trips over to the new house and dropped off quite a few things. Tonight should be most of the big items and all of the random odds and ends left around the house.

The whole move is bittersweet. It's emotional to say say goodbye to our house that we've lived in and made our home since June 2005. We've brought our three kiddos home here and have created so many wonderful family memories.

Today marks a day of new beginnings and new memories. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us!

New Beginnings

It's official.  The Zsilavec family is moving!

Fall Break has been anything but a break, but it's all positive.  After a couple of years of limbo, we have decided to sell our house.  In fact, yesterday we signed on an offer and we hopefully will have everything settled on the house in a a month or two.  It's been a rough couple of years, but we are now seeking God's advice rather than trying to do things our way.  With this new insight into life, we know that we have made the right decision and that only great things can come in our lives.

We also have found a new house to move in to and we will begin that process in just two short weeks.  This new house is much bigger for our growing family and is in a great neighborhood.  There will obviously be some major adjustments for all of us, but through God, all things are possible!  :)

So, enough procrastinating ... I have to get packing!

P.S.  We are looking for help moving the weekend of October 27th!  I will provide yummy snacks, food, beverages, and the NFL Sunday package to watch!  :)

Lot's of Firsts!

Kenton had a very eventful day today.  He went to the infant room at church for the first time, he sat in the new walker Nana got him and moved himself backwards, and started army crawling!  Here is a video of the whole family getting involved in the fun!

New Camera

Well, I finally have a new camera.  As luck would have it, I happened to find my old camera on the same night.  I think Talan must have been playing with it and put it in the camera box.  Since I would have NEVER done that, it never occurred to me to check there.  Oh well!   Now we have a good camera and an even better one as a back up.  :)

Here are a few cute pictures I snapped as I was trying out my camera the other day.  There will be many more to come!

Watch out, Holly!

Although Kenton isn't officially crawling, he definitely knows how to get around. The days of walking away are long gone. Today, Kenton figured out how to get to Holly. After moving three times, she decided to move all the way across the room.

Below are some pictures taken about 30 seconds apart. Check out Holly's look as he gets closer!
