As Easter is quickly approaching, I decided it was time to start thinking of the kids' Easter baskets and how we will be celebrating this year. One of the things I've really been thinking about is how to help the boys truly understand the gift and sacrifice Jesus gave to us so we could be saved. The 7 Days of Easter!
Starting on Monday, we will open up an Easter egg containing some Bible scripture and an item representing the verse we will be discussing. My goal is to have us open these as a family after dinner and have some discussion.
I'm hoping that my boys will learn to appreciate the gift we were given and what Easter truly means. Luckily, the items are rather easy to pull together and I feel like I can get this put together by Monday.
