Nephrologist, take 2

On Monday, we took Kenton for his follow-up appointment with the pediatric nephrologist, Dr. Barletta.  We did another urine test to see if there was any protein in Kenton's urine, as well as an ultrasound on one of Kenton's kidneys.  We received fantastic news ... there is still no protein in Kenton's urine and his kidneys look great!  Dr. Barletta has officially cleared us from her care and gave Kenton a clean bill of health.  Praise God!  In fact, when we measured and weighed Kenton, he was 22 inches long (95%) and weighed 10 pounds, 9 ounces (94%).  Kenton is doing the exact opposite of what the doctor's first predicted!

We have been so extremely blessed throughout this entire experience.  Although it was very emotionally draining, it has made mine and Aaron's relationship stronger, as well as helped build our faith and trust in God.

John 14:27
I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn't fragile like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid.

Psalms 40:1-3
I waited patiently for God to help me; then He listened and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out from the bog and the mire, and set my feet on a hard, firm path and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, of praises to our God. Now many will hear of the glorious things He did for me, and stand in awe before the Lord, and put their trust in Him.
